Buffalo Lake Shoreline DVD
Alberta Sustainable Resource Development has released a video of Buffalo Lake’s shoreline. The video imagery was obtained on June 24, 2006 for the purpose of allowing provincial resource management agencies to complete a riparian assessment of the lake’s shoreline and the adjacent public land right-of-way. The aerial assessment provides a snapshot of shoreland conditions.
It is anticipated that shoreline videography projects will be completed in the future to help determine how the lake’s shoreland is changing as result of environmental factors and human activities.
Reader’s who are interested in viewing the Scorecard that is used by professional staff to quantify riparian health can click on the following link: Aerial Videography Scorecard
